Applicants Meet with Pittsburgh Gaming Task Force4 November 2005PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania – As reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Three potential casino applicants attended a meeting Thursday where the Pittsburgh Gaming Task Force outlined its expectations for a slots parlor in the city. "Alco Parking Corp. President Merrill Stabile, who wants to place a casino on the North Shore, attended along with representatives of Forest City Enterprises, of Cleveland, and Beaver County developer Charles 'C.J.' Betters. "Forest City and Harrah's Entertainment, of Las Vegas, are expected to seek a casino for Station Square, while Betters might apply to have slots at a site in Hays where he wants to build a thoroughbred racing track…" |
