Apache Nugget Corporation to reopen New Mexico casino11 February 2025(PRESS RELEASE) -- Apache Nugget Corporation, a provider of hospitality and entertainment experiences across northern New Mexico, today announced that its casino near Cuba, N.M. will reopen on 14 February. “Our Cuba casino was a popular community hub before the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to close,” said Tony J. Amormino, President and CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation. “We’re thrilled to be back and better than ever, delivering the best experience and amenities this side of Las Vegas to the region. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Cuba.” The Apache Nugget Travel Center and Casino is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 550 and State Highway 537, about 10-15 miles northwest of Cuba. The Apache Nugget casino near Cuba will feature: - 80 of the newest slot machines available anywhere - A wall full of electronic table game stations, with everything from blackjack to video poker and craps to baccarat - A fully functional race and sports book - A Players Club with the best perks and rewards anywhere - A staff team that values family and belonging – and treats guests like they would their own - Entertaining music and a lively vibe - Enjoyable dining options In addition, the travel center offers a full convenience store, gas station, trucker’s lounge and more. The community is invited to celebrate the reopening with Apache Nugget at a ceremony in the casino on 14 February, beginning at 1 p.m. Dignitaries from the community, the Jicarilla Apache tribe and Apache Nugget will attend and speak.
