Another Application Filed for Super-Casino

SCOTLAND – As reported by the UK Evening Times: "Glasgow is set to face another challenger in the fight to secure the UK's first super-casino.

"Councillors in West Dunbartonshire, one of Scotland's smallest councils, are set to confirm tomorrow they want to host the pilot 'regional' complex at the former Esso terminal at Bowling, between Clydebank and Dumbarton.

"The plan is for a £300million resort that would create 5000 jobs and include a luxury hotel, restaurants, bars and shops.

"It is also hoped the site would be able to berth cruise ships.

"A regional super-casino is one with a floor space of over 50,000sq ft and up to 1250 unlimited jackpot slot machines…"
