Ameristar Casino employees donate to DASA1 May 2008MISSOURI -- As reported by the St, Louis Business Journal: "Ameristar Casino St. Charles employees donated $105,000 to the Disabled Athlete Sport Association (DASA), the largest donation the organization has ever received, Ameristar said Wednesday. "The donation helped DASA host events like the regional Gateway Games, to be held May 3-4 at Fort Zumwalt High School and the St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, Mo., where disabled athletes from six states throughout the Midwest will compete to qualify for the Paralympic Games in Beijing, China. Athletes from Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama will compete in the Gateway Games..." |
