Almost Angels celebrating birthday at Taj13 August 2010ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Almost Angels, the sexy and talented act that has been appearing at Trump Taj Mahal will celebrate their first Birthday, with a SINdustry Night Party beginning at 8 pm on Thursday, August 19 in Ego Bar & Lounge. Join in the fun with SOJO 104.9 and their "Naughty or Nice" Contest. Wear red if you are naughty, white if you are nice, or a little of both to keep them guessing. The Almost Angels will judge the best outfits for a chance to win prizes. For over a year, "Almost Angels" have held court in Ego Bar & Lounge as the hottest party and show in Atlantic City since Summer of 2009. Now, the ladies' act has gotten even spicier with new members, new sets, new costumes and more. The Almost Angels popularity has soared and as fame kept calling, so did a new name. Formerly known as simply the "Angels," audiences will now welcome the newly-branded "Almost Angels." After all, a perfect angel can't properly misbehave. And this act is spiked with such devilish moves that the name "Almost Angels" seemed, well, a natural fit. "When you witness the kind of audience response they get with every performance, you realize just how special this is," said Steve Gietka, Vice President of Entertainment. "The band is tight and among the most driven I've ever had the chance to work with at the Trump properties," he added. So when a popular show like "Almost Angels" already offers a first-class caliber of talent, why up the ante in such a major way? Enter the latest additions to "Almost Angels" family: Natasha Bradley, Susanne Vogel and Kris Ashley. Natasha Bradley, from New Jersey masterfully blends powerful R&B vocals with superior dance skills. She's recorded with both Jive and Def Jam Records with her Billboard-charting single "Sidekick" which has garnered over three million hits on YouTube. Bradley, also a beautiful fashion model, was featured in Vibe Magazine and has appeared on BET, MTV and elsewhere. Susanne Vogel comes to us from Germany, with an alluring European culture and charm. Vogel is well versed in the art of the dance and is an actress and vocalist who has performed in "Cabaret" and "Chicago" productions and appeared in Beyonce's 2009 Video Music Awards performance. Whitney Houston, Missy Elliot, Sony, Absolut and L'Oreal are just some of the other superstars and super-brands Vogel has worked with. Kris Ashley brings her talents from New York to Atlantic City as part of "Almost Angels." Her vocal skills have kicked up the volume on the band's repertoire. Her experience as a dancer/choreographer for the New York Knicks, a dancer for the New York Liberty, and a key member of productions of "Grease" and "Fame" make her a natural fit for Almost Angels' revved-up sets. The new additions are welcomed by the entire band, including sexy front-woman Gina Cannuscio, and original members Daisy Flores and Ashle' Worrick who were selected from hundreds of candidates and several auditions from all over the region to join the band. Talented guitarist/vocalist, Dan Jost along with percussionist/vocalist Ron Segars are the backbeat of the band and accomplished musicians in their own right. "Almost Angels" captivate their audiences with hot renditions of some of today's favorite megahits. Add in a fresh lineup of songs, including "Telephone" by Lady Gaga and Beyonce; "Rude Boy" by Rihanna; "California Gurls" by Katy Perry; "Not Myself Tonight" by Christina Aguilera; "Give It Up To Me" by Shakira; "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars. Plus, the group is known to mix in classic rock faves like "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith just to keep things interesting. Almost Angels recently were in studio to record an EP (5 song CD) featuring entirely original songs. Their first single off the EP is called "Bad Girl" and will be available for purchase, along with some sexy new "Almost Angels" merchandise for women and men to commemorate an unforgettable night.
