All Iowa Counties Get Gambling Money

IOWA – As reported by KIMT News: "Worth County isn't the only county in our area getting money from the casino.

"All counties that don't have a casino, get one half of one percent of the gaming tax revenue from all casinos in the state.

"This year, that meant $42,000 dollars for each county.

"…The Cerro Gordo County Community Foundation was formed in April of last year to help distribute that money to deserving groups…"
