Alberta thinking about online gambling

ALBERTA, Canada -- BC was first, this week Ontario signed up and now Alberta are "considering" online gambling, CBC reported.

An Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission spokesperson describe their position as "researching and monitoring" the possibilities of online gaming, CBC said.

A study suggested Canadians currently spend $1 billion on online gambling outside the country, CBC report noted.
