Alberta Smoking Ban Proposal Amended

EDMONTON – As reported by CBC: "The Conservative government has amended a proposed workplace smoking ban to allow people to light up in bars, casinos and bingo halls.

"Calgary Conservative MLA Dave Rodney had introduced the bill with the intent of preventing smoking in all public places.

"Now, after the amendments, smoking will essentially be banned in any place where children can go…"
