Alberta reports gaming results17 March 2008ALBERTA -- As reported by the Calgary Sun: "Provincial gambling revenues are pegged to hit another record while exceeding expectations by $90 million, say government officials. "With the end of the fiscal year two weeks away, government coffers are expected to bulge by $1.538 billion for 2007-08. "That's just $28 million less than Alberta's oil royalties. "But if that holds true, it's only about $5 million more than the 2006-07 total and comes at a time when the provincial economy is cooling.
