Aladdin Completes Wireless Project

24 April 2006

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Infinigy engineering announced today the completion of an enterprise wireless network at the Aladdin Resort and Casino Future Home of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas. The in-building distributed antenna system currently provides seamless Sprint and Sprint Nextel wireless voice and data services throughout the 35 acre venue. infinigy engineering selected the MobileAccess Networks' fiber-based Universal Wireless Network to meet the design and application requirements of the resort campus.

Infinigy provided full turnkey design and implementation of the enterprise wireless network, which included over three miles of fiber, more than 50 Mobile Access service modules, and over 15 fiber hubs. All were installed without disruption or notice to the resort client operations. The Aladdin Resort and Casino's enterprise wireless network currently provides both CDMA and iDEN on the 800 and 1900 frequency bands, providing seamless wireless services for Sprint and Sprint Nextel clients throughout the facility.

"The resort and casino required the latest in wireless technology, and improved aesthetics throughout the building. The installation also required a zero impact to our guests," said Jerry A Sparks, IT Director for Aladdin Resort and Casino Future Home of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. "The infinigy team delivered on this critical design and implementation requirement."

The Aladdin Resort & Casino is in a phased remodeling project that is transforming the Aladdin into the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, expected to be competed in the fourth quarter of 2006. The resort complex has over 2500 guest rooms, more than 150,000 square feet of Casino and gaming rooms, seven restaurants, a performing arts theater, spa, two upscale lounges and a 500,000 square feet shopping experience that features 140 retail outlets.

"The MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network provided the scalable and flexible infrastructure this large resort venue required," stated John Stevens, CEO, infinigy engineering. "This enterprise wireless network solution has the capacity to meet individual and collective carrier demand."

The Mobile Access solution's architecture combines the low-loss transport of fiber optics with the broadband flexibility of coaxial cable. It is host neutral, can accommodate any mix of services, and is scalable to the ongoing wireless requirements of the facility. The Universal Wireless Network's modular design enables the Resort to quickly and cost effectively deploy additional wireless voice and data services without disturbing the active network.

"We are thrilled that the Aladdin Resort and Casino has deployed the MobileAccess Universal Wireless Network to enable wireless coverage throughout its expansive world class facility," said Cathy Zatloukal, president and CEO of MobileAccess Networks,

"Our comprehensive wireless infrastructure ensures increased convenience and productivity for guests and employees facility-wide."
