Alabama trial hears tape of bribe offer

ALABAMA -- The ongoing federal gambling corruption trial heard a recording of a Senator being offered a bribe today, The Montgomery Advertiser reported.

The secret recording from 2010 was Jarrod Massey offering Sen Scott Beason money if he supports pro-gambling legislation, the report explained.

Senator Beason approached the FBI and subequently recorded conversations for them, The Montgomery Advertiser reported.
