Alabama Senate committee approves gambling bill15 May 2015MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- An Alabama Senate committee yesterday approved a lottery and casino bill, WVTM13 News reported. The bill, if eventually approved, will create a state lottery and permit casinos at four dog tracks in the state, the report said. The bill is sponsored by Republican Senator Del Marsh and is in response to avert taxes being raised, according to WLTM13's report. |
