Alabama: Judge sets tentative trial date for October15 August 2011ALABAMA -- Following the mistrial declared last week in the electronic bingo corruption trial the Judge has set a tentative date for a new trial, according to the Birmingham News. Jurors failed to reach unanimous verdicts and two people were acquitted of charges, the report explained. There is also a possibility the government may try to separate the trials out, so there would be one for each group of defendants, the Birmingham News report noted. |
