Air Supply brings soft-rock sounds to SugarHouse Casino

7 June 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Australian duo Air Supply takes The Event Center stage at SugarHouse Casino on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 9 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 10 for $59.

Air Supply, featuring singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, became international stars in the 1980s with their soft-rock sounds. Hits including "Lost in Love," "All Out of Love" and "Every Woman in the World" helped the duo achieve multi-platinum success.

"Air Supply is going to bring such a fantastic show to SugarHouse," said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. "Their hits from the '80s, as well as more recently, are going to bring something unique to The Event Center that will be a must see."

The duo is most famous for their live performances, and is known to give audiences memorable shows. The band's performance at SugarHouse will feature all-time favorites along with tracks from its most recent album, "Mumbo Jumbo," which was released in 2010.

Tickets for Air Supply's show can be purchased online at the SugarHouse Casino website starting Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. The cost is $59 per seat.

Air Supply will follow performances from Grammy Award-winning singer-song writer Jonny Lang, as well as '90s pop-rock band Gin Blossoms and more. Tickets for all concerts are available at the SugarHouse Casino website.

In addition to live performances and concerts, the SugarHouse Casino Event Center can be reserved for a variety of other occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows and more. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the Delaware River waterfront and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Parking is always free.

The Event Center is part of SugarHouse's 2016 expansion rollout, with an expanded gaming floor and seven new food and beverage outlets, including Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House, the casino's high-end steakhouse by Gibsons Restaurant Group.
