Agua Caliente tribe supports school supply drive

23 August 2013

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (PRESS RELEASE) -– Tribal members and employees of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians stepped up this summer to support the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Backpack Bonanza by donating more than 500 backpacks and school supplies for children in need.

"Every child deserves to start the new school year off with the right supplies," Tribal chairman Jeff L. Grubbe said. "We are pleased to partner with the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission to make sure that happens. We are just one of the dozens of businesses and organizations who are stepping up to help."

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission serves those in need of food, shelter, clothing and spiritual recovery.
