Agua Caliente creates own band19 February 2008RANCHO MIRAGE, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- In a Coachella Valley first, Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa in Rancho Mirage has created its very own house band to play at its eclectic live music venue "The Lounge." Fourteen musicians auditioned for the band. Six were chosen and these talented musicians are as lively as their backgrounds are diverse! They have performed with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Van Halen's Sammy Hagar and Paulina Rubio; entertained the masses in Broadway productions including Sunset Boulevard; and written music for feature films and network television! There's even a family connection to the immensely famous rock band Journey. Right now, the band is still in its infancy and we invite you to come on a wild ride as they get to know each other, decide on the band's name, attend meetings and of course, jam together!
