Agua Caliente Casinos grant holiday wishes15 December 2022(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three casinos in California – Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage, Agua Caliente Palm Springs and Agua Caliente Cathedral City – made 300 holiday wishes come true by donating gifts to Angel Tree recipients, a local non-profit organization. Each Angel Tree client was granted three to four wishes. The Angel Tree Shelter From the Storm toy drive is an annual charity drive for Agua Caliente Casinos through the Agua Cares program, which allows team members the opportunity to support the local community. “I am proud of our nearly 3,000 team members and how much they have given back to the community through the Angel Tree program this year,” said Saverio R. Scheri III, Chief Operating Officer at Agua Caliente Casinos. “Our generous team members have gifted toys, clothing, home necessities, and more to local families in need and I am honored to be given the opportunity to share our giving spirit with the community.” Shelter From the Storm is the Coachella Valley’s only comprehensive domestic victim assistance service and shelter provider organization. Through the help of donations from team members across all three properties – Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and Cathedral City – employees from Agua Caliente Casinos delivered hundreds of gifts and necessities to the families of Shelter From the Storm. “Shelter From the Storm is honored and humbled to be the recipient of the Agua Caliente Casinos’ Angel Tree gifts and toy drive,” said Angelina Coe, Executive Director of Shelter From the Storm. “Agua Caliente Casinos have become our Christmas angels and champions for our clients. They are a reminder that kindness abounds and that they care about our families greatly! Thank you for making the holidays memorable and special for our program families.” Additional fundraisers through the program in 2022 included the local Tram Road Challenge, community hikes, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month programming. These are in addition to the dozens of sponsorships and partnerships the resort, casino and entertainment properties are involved in throughout the year. |
