AGS completes successful field trial at Treasure Chest Casino

13 May 2013

LAS VEGAS (PRESS RELEASE) -- American Gaming Systems (AGS), a leading designer, manufacturer and operator of gaming machines with more than 7,500 installed gaming machines, announced last week that it has completed a successful field trial of its Roadrunner platform and its GT5000 cabinet at Boyd Gaming Corporation’s Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner, La.

Golden Panda®, Tropical Hideaway® and Evening In Paris® were placed at Treasure Chest Casino on Feb. 20, and AGS plans to place the "Pick Your Progressive™" series of games in early May. This is AGS’ first installation in the Louisiana market.

"We could not be more pleased with the results of our initial installation in Louisiana," said chairman & CEO Robert Miodunski. "AGS has a series of new titles planned for the Louisiana market. We will be displaying our full suite of products at the Southern Gaming show in Biloxi, Miss. on May 8-9."

"The fact that our Lock & Bump series has done as well as it has at Treasure Chest really bodes well for our premium wheel product such as Blackbeard's Treasure™ and Ripley's Believe It or Not!®. This is really an exciting time for our company," said Andrew Burke, director of marketing for AGS.
