Adam Sandler to perform in Connecticut26 March 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun, the premier entertainment destination in the Northeast, is excited to announce that Adam Sandler will be bringing his new stand-up, songs & fun to Webster Bank Arena on Tuesday, 25 June. This event is a part of the recently announced exclusive partnership between Webster Bank Arena and Mohegan Sun’s Entertainment team. The relationship involves concerts, sporting events and sponsorships. Tickets on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the Webster Bank Arena Box Office or online. “Bringing additional sports & entertainment programming to Bridgeport is our way of being a good community partner, and we plan on creating more energy and excitement that will also drive more tourism that everyone in Bridgeport and the State of Connecticut can enjoy,” said Tom Cantone, Sr. Vice President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Sun. “We’re thrilled to be working together with WBA in having the one-and-only Adam Sandler perform in this historic city & great venue come June.” Adam Sandler is a widely successful actor, comedian, musician, producer & writer whose career took off in the early '90s while on Saturday Night Live. In 1999, Sandler founded Happy Madison Productions, a successful production company that has produced numerous films and television series. Since then, Sandler has been apart of various high-grossing hit films, including Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalow, Little Nicky, The Animal, The Hot Chick, 50 First Dates, Click, Grown Ups, The Ridiculous 6 and many more. Of recent, Sandler embarked on a standup tour performing for crowds in the likes of Denver, Co, Salt Lake City & Detroit, Mich. Also premiering later this year, is the Netflix movie, Murder Mystery, starring Sandler alongside Jennifer Aniston. Sandler will also star in the Safdie Brothers’ UNCUT GEMS out later this year. 100% Fresh was released on Netflix on 23 October 2018 and marked Sandler’s first comedy special in 20 years. In conjunction with Netflix, Warner Bros. Records released the audio companion to Sandler’s critically acclaimed Netflix special, 100% Fresh: A Netflix Original Comedy Special, on all streaming services and CD on 22 March.
