Actor and comedian D.L. Hughley returns to The Orleans Showroom7 June 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Actor and comedian D.L. Hughley will return to The Orleans Showroom July 22-23. Hughley has been a fixture on the comedy scene for more than 20 years, entertaining millions throughout the course of his career. Since getting his start as the original host of BET's "Comic View" in the early '90s, Hughley has made several appearances on daytime, prime-time and late-night television, as well as film and radio, including a prominent role in the comedy special "The Original Kings of Comedy." He also appeared on season 16 of the ABC hit "Dancing with the Stars" alongside dancing partner Cheryl Burke. On television, Hughley was the producer and star of "The Hughleys," which ran on ABC and UPN from 1998 through 2002. He also appeared as a series regular on NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." His comedy specials include "D.L. Hughley: Goin' Home," "D.L. Hughley Live," "Shocked & Appalled" and the HBO special, "D.L. Hughley: Unapologetic." In 2012, his one-hour special "Reset" premiered on Showtime. Hughley later went on to co-host a game show on TBS called "Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host." Hughley is currently a weekly contributor to the nationally syndicated radio program "The Tom Joyner Morning Show." He continues to host his own afternoon radio show, "The D.L. Hughley Show," and currently stars as Dr. Hackett on NBC's new medical drama, "Heartbeat." Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are available starting from $39.95 plus tax and convenience fees.
