ACLU is Warning Against Casino Entertainment Rules28 February 2006NEVADA -- As reported by the Associated Press: "The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada cautioned regulators against any efforts to control the type of entertainment offered in the state's casinos, saying such efforts would amount to unconstitutional censorship. "Allen Lichtenstein, general counsel for the ACLU of Nevada, told the state Gaming Commission that its authority over the casinos, while extensive, has to take a back seat to constitutionally guaranteed free-speech rights..." |
