According to WFTV.com, a 20-year-old robbed a Cumberlands Farms grocery store in Osceola County on Wednesday. Angelo Palmieri committed the robbery by going up to a clerk and implying he had a gun. He demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk obliged and Palmieri then fled in a getaway car. The driver of that car happened to be Palmieri’s mother, 47-year-old Cindy Wilson. After the clerk called 911, Wilson was pulled over by police and arrested along with her son. That wasn’t the end of it. WFTV reports that “police said that while in custody, Palmieri tried to escape unsuccessfully.” He also confessed to the robbery. Both family members are now being held being held at the Osceola County jail. The Reel Life only thought these types of moments occurred on Mother’s Day. We’re happy to be proven wrong.
