(PRESS RELEASE) -- Male R&B vocal group 98 Degrees is bringing its smooth four-part harmonies and pop hits to the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady event center on Thursday, 21 September 2023. 98 Degrees will celebrate 25-years with an evening of catchy melodies, chart-topping songs, and fan-favorites including “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),” “Because Of You,” “The Way You Want Me To,” and more.

Tickets go on sale on this Friday, 21 April at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $75, plus taxes and fees, and will be available at RiversCasino.com/Schenectady. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.

With eight Top 40 singles, and a staggering 10-million records sold, 98 Degrees has performed its soulful pop classics all over the world. The group, consisting of the all Ohio-raised Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, and brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, first emerged in 1997 with their self-titled debut that included the hit single “Invisible Man,” which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and went on to achieve gold-record status.

The group achieved international stardom with just their second album 98 Degrees and Rising, which sold over four-million copies and produced hits including “The Hardest Thing,” and “I Do (Cherish You)”. The band then scored the chart-topping single “Thank God I Found You,” with Mariah Carey and Joe, and collaborated with their collective idol, Stevie Wonder, on “True to Your Heart,” for the animated Disney film, Mulan. 2000’s Revelation, went on to sell two-million copies, and peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

After a lengthy break, and years of pursuing separate solo careers, 98 Degrees reunited in 2013 and released the album 2.0. The vocalists then joined New Kids On The Block and Boyz II Men on the road before embarking on a sold-out tour of their own. The group went on to create a full-length Christmas album Let It Snow in 2017 and have been touring and thrilling fans ever since.
