38 Special to perform at Rivers Casino Schenectady in September29 June 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Legendary rockers, 38 Special, will be bringing their signature blast of southern rock to the Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center on Friday, 1 September 2023. 38 Special will thrill fans with an evening of arena rock radio classics including “Hold On Loosely”, “Rockin’ Into the Night”, “Caught Up in You”, and many more. Tickets go on sale on this Friday, 30 June at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $65, plus taxes and fees, and will be available at RiversCasino.com/Schenectady. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Since 1976, 38 Special has released more than 15 albums with sales of over 20-million, along with numerous Gold and Platinum album awards. The band is associated with a string of 80’s and 90’s Top 40 hits, and timeless radio classics, including "Hold On Loosely", "Caught Up in You", "Rockin' into the Night", "You Keep Runnin' Away", "If I'd Been the One", "Back Where You Belong", “Wild-Eyed Southern Boys”, “Chain Lightnin’”, "Teacher, Teacher", "Like No Other Night", "Second Chance", and "The Sound of Your Voice". 38 Special is led by guitarist/vocalist Don Barnes, along with bassist Barry Dunaway, drummer Gary Moffatt, and keyboardist/vocalist Bobby Capps. The most recent addition to the band is legendary virtuoso guitarist and vocalist Jerry Riggs. From their inception, the band has toured relentlessly, bringing their signature brand of ‘muscle and melody’ to fans worldwide.
