3 place bids for Aqueduct gambling franchise30 June 2010NEW YORK -- Three bidders have put in for the right to operate slot machines at Aqueduct racetrack, The New York Times reported. This will be the fourth attempt to have slot gambling at the struggling track, the report said. Among the bidders were Genting New York, Penn National Gaming and thirdly a partnership between a significant New York commercial landlord and Hard Rock International, The New York Times report said. The New York Lottery will make its recommendation by August 3, 2010, The New York Times noted. |
