2018 World Series of Poker Europe11 June 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Fresh off a hugely successful inaugural WSOP Europe in Rozvadov, the event returns in 2018 with 10 WSOP gold bracelets on the line, plus a €5 million guaranteed Main Event, a €5 million guaranteed High Roller and €3 million more in guarantees during poker’s largest European festival. The WSOP Europe has found a permanent home at King's Casino in Rozvadov after an event last year that featured more than 25 million euros in prize money and 7,689 entries. “King’s Casino does everything big and first class, so we can’t wait to return to Rozvadov for the 2018 World Series of Poker Europe,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “With €13 million in guarantees on bracelet events, plus a phenomenal cash game scene, we highly recommend you make plans to join us this fall in Europe’s best kept poker secret.” The first official gold bracelet event will begin on Tuesday, 9 October at 6:00pm, with an €550 buy-in Colossus No-Limit Hold’em event with eight starting flights and a €1,000,000 prize pool guarantee. It will be the first of 10 official WSOP gold bracelet events awarded during the tournament series that concludes officially on Friday, 2 November with the final table of the €10,350 Main Event that features a €5,000,000 prize pool guarantee. WSOP Europe itself has €13,000,000 in prize pool guarantees, and adding in the WSOP Circuit event that will immediately precede WSOP Europe (from 20 September - 8 October) and the satellite guarantees, and this WSOP festival becomes can’t miss for players with over €15,000,000 million guaranteed up for grabs. “It was a dream to host WSOP Europe and I can’t wait to do it again,” said King’s Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik. “We hope everyone who came last year comes back for our warm hospitality and generous offerings, and for those who missed out, please join us for Europe’s biggest poker event of the year.” The entire WSOP Europe schedule can be viewed at www.wsop.com or on the King’s Casino website here.
