2013 Great Women of Gaming Award winners announced

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- After receiving numerous nominations, the judges for the Great Women of Gaming Awards had some difficult decisions to make when it came to choosing only five Proven Leaders and five Rising Stars. While all the nominees have displayed their superior skills, dedication and positive contributions to the gaming industry, only five in each category could be selected. After a tough two weeks of judging, the ballots are in and the winners have been selected. Congratulations to the following winners.

Proven Leader Award Winners:
Christine Bordeaux (VP of R&D Electronic Games & Technical Compliance, Bally Technologies)
Wendy Hamilton (General Manager, SugarHouse Casino)
Joanne Iverson (President, Iverson Gaming Systems)
Katie Lever (General Counsel and Senior VP of Legal & Compliance, Bally Technologies)
Kim Ward (Director of Public and Community Affairs, Twin River Casino)

Rising Star Award Winners:
Julia Boguslawski (VP of Corporate Marketing, Bally Technologies)
Randi Kolesar (Director of Slot Marketing, Wynn Las Vegas)
Annabelle Lee (Marketing Manager, Konami Gaming, Inc.)
Angela Sears (Advertising Supervisor, Spirit Mountain Casino)
Leigh Whitaker (VP of Communications, SugarHouse Casino)

An article will profile each of the 10 women in the August 2014 issue of Casino Enterprise Management. Each winner will receive a crystal Great Women of Gaming Award and the chance to be featured on a CEM Audio Edge radio show.
