13th Annual Grand Poker Series coming to Golden Nugget Las Vegas28 July 2021(PRESS RELEASE) -- Golden Nugget - Las Vegas Hotel and Casino proudly presents the 13th Annual Grand Poker Series 28 September – 18 October 2021, hosted in the Grand Event Center and featuring 50 poker tournaments spread across 21 days. Tournaments range in both buy-in amounts and poker disciplines.
Of the 50 events on the schedule, 36 are in various forms of No Limit Hold’Em games and tournaments. Other events include stand-alone Omaha 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, Triple Stud, and Big-O events, along with mixed game formats including No Limit Hold’Em, Razz, Stud, Stud 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha 8 or Better, 2-7 Triple Draw and Big-O. “We’re thrilled to host the 13th annual Grand Poker Series at The Golden Nugget,” said Andy Rich, Golden Nugget Las Vegas Director of Poker Operations. “With a bustling schedule of events, affordable buy-ins, and combined guarantees that total $1.2 million, this year’s series is sure to be a roaring success.” Buy-ins range from $100 to $600, and most days, feature three events – at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. Offerings at the Grand Poker Series include a daily guaranteed prize pool No Limit Hold’Em Event almost every day at 1 p.m., a $120 buy-in event at 7 p.m. each night, a $100K Guarantee Prize Pool 6 Flight $200 buy-in Event on 5 through 7 October, a $500K Guarantee Prize Pool “Championship No Limit Hold’em” $600 buy-in Event on 7 through 10 October and the always exhilarating Bar Poker Open Championship on 11 through 16 October, as well as multiple Seniors Events to close out the series 16 through 18 October.
