$500,000 prize pool in World Poker Tour regional event at Seminole Hard Rock8 July 2012HOLLYWOOD, Florida -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Summer Splash Poker Open returns August 10–27 with more than $1.75 million in guaranteed prize pools. The 65-event series, which will take place in the ballrooms, features a variety of buy-in levels and games, and opens with a $350 buy-in No-limit Hold’em event with a $300,000 guarantee. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Summer Splash Poker Open is highlighted by the World Poker Tour Regional Championship Main Event running from August 24-27 with a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. On-site registration for the WPT Regional Championship Main Event is open until the end of Level 4 on the first two days (registration fee is nonrefundable). To participate, players must be 18 and obtain a free “Wild Card” at the Player’s Club or in The Poker Room at Seminole Paradise. World Poker Tour, LLC and Seminole Hard Rock Casinos have a multi-year partnership that includes several WPT events and the development of official WPT Poker Rooms inside select Seminole Hard Rock Casinos. |
