$450-million hotel-casino complex announced for False Creek

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- A new casino has been confirmed by the B.C government for False Creek in Vancouver, BC, The Globe and Mail reported.

The project, which will cost $450-million, will include two hotels and a new casino sized at 100,000-square-feet, The Globe and Mail said.

Construction will require approval of rezoning by the City of Vancouver, and will take until mid 2013 to complete, The Globe and Mail noted.
