$1 million grand prize awarded by Resorts World Catskills

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Resorts World Catskills, New York’s newest and closest integrated casino resort to Manhattan, announced today that Susan Cutrone of Ulster Park, NY is the winner of its $1 million grand prize after being selected in Saturday’s thrilling drawing that included five finalists. Cutrone was the lucky winner and prevailed over the other four final contestants in the weekend-long culmination of the three-month “Million Winning Moments” promotion at the luxury gaming destination. In addition to the $1 million, Saturday’s drawing included the following single prizes of $10,000 in free play to the other four finalists:
  • Robert Macksoud Jr. of Allendale, NJ
  • Susan Kreeger of Middletown, NY
  • Namwon Lee of Northvale, NJ
  • Diane Squillante of Bronx, NY
“We came up to Resorts World Catskills a lot during the promotion because we love it here. It is our favorite casino resort, but I never thought it would actually be me who won the million dollars,” Cutrone said. “Now it is really my favorite resort! I promise I am going to do good with it. Part fun and part contributing to autism awareness. I feel like I am dreaming.”

Throughout the course of its second major multi-month promotion, Resorts World Catskills has given away over $2.5 million in prizes, totaling $3.5 million after Saturday’s big giveaway. The “Million Winning Moments” promotion provided patrons chances to win their share of millions of dollars in prizes each day they played and drawings for additional prizes, including Jeep Wranglers, an all-expense paid cruise, free play and much more. In addition to Cutrone winning the $1 million, the epic conclusion to the summer-long promotion continued Sunday, where 105 patrons had the opportunity to spin the Million Dollar Wheel, winning a total of $364,000.

Resorts World Catskills has upped its promotional ante in 2019, giving away more than $58 million in prizes this year, including luxury vehicles such as BMWs and Lincolns, shopping sprees, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Boats, lavish VIP experience packages and so much more.
