What a difference a year makes. At this time last year, we were looking back on the most prosperous years the I-gaming business has seen to date. But in the fourth quarter of 2006, the process severing the U.S. I-gaming market began, and now the industry faces the upward battle of supplanting the U.S. players with growth in other international markets.

It has been a rollercoaster ride since the advent of I-gaming in 1995, and anyone who thought there were no more difficult times ahead was not being very realistic. So let us take a deep breath as we enter the next weightless plummet, and remember that in this industry, as strange as it sounds, what goes down must come up.
