The mood shifts ever so slightly toward regulation in the United States.

It's time again for a look at the year in review and a preview of the year to come. Without a doubt, the industry in 2005 built on its great successes of 2004, and the outlook for interactive gambling coming into 2006 is better than ever. Poker mania has yet to fall back into being a passing fad, the investment community appears to be bullish on I-gaming and consumers all over the world are accepting remote forms of gambling as a legitimate form of entertainment. Even some of the major problems faced by the industry (transaction processing issues, advertising restrictions, etc.) seem to be under control.
