Will New Playing Method Revolutionize Blackjack?21 April 2004
Four of the world's most well known and respected gambling authorities got together a couple of years ago to combine their years of playing experience and computer expertise in an effort to come up with a revolutionary method of play for the one casino game in which skilled players can tip the ever-changing odds in their favor: Blackjack. The problem in the past has been that many of the systems were so complicated and required such a high degree of mathematical computation and concentration that it was beyond the ability of average players to master them. Furthermore, there was such a major commitment of time and practice required to master the system that it wasn't practical for recreational players. That's why gambling gurus Frank Scoblete and Dr. Henry Tamburin joined forces with blackjack software developers Dan Pronovost and Dom LoRiggio to come up with an advantage method of play that was powerful yet easy to use and didn't require countless hours of study and practice to learn. What the team came up with is "Golden Touch Blackjack", a two-day class that teaches an unprecedented method of advantage play that is simple, easy to apply, yet powerful enough to achieve a verifiable, mathematical edge over the casinos at blackjack. The Golden Touch masters along with their team of certified instructors will kick-off a nationwide tour of the course next month. They'll be in Las Vegas in April and Atlantic City in May, followed by a Chicago visit scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20. Be forewarned that the two-day, hands-on course carries a hefty price: $895 per person. But the rewards could be well worth it. The developers promise to deliver seven elements of instruction that will give students the tools necessary to gain an edge over the casinos at the blackjack tables. "We have created an extremely simple, yet powerful method of being able to tell when a player has an advantage over the house," said Pronovost. "It doesn't require an advanced degree in math to get the edge, nor does it require constant addition, subtraction and division that traditional card counts use."
