NetPlay TV (London: 28.28p / + 2.03p / + 7.73%)

Netplay, the interactive television gambling specialist, has launched its Live Blackjack offering on Sky channel 848.

The televised offering will allow customers, in real time, to bet on hands drawn by a croupier.

"Later this year, we will merge both 'Live Roulette' and 'Live Blackjack' into our new brand Supercasino.com and we will continue to develop and add new games to the casino portfolio," said Martin J. Higginson, the company's chief executive.

Gaming VC Holdings (London: 229p / + 5.50p / + 2.46%)

According to Forbes.com, Gaming VC has settled a lawsuit filed by Fort Knox Consulting in United States District Court.

Fort Knox, a brokerage consultancy, alleged in October 2006 that Gaming VC had breached a commission agreement.

Under the agreement, Fort Knox was to receive a 5 percent commission on any M&A work with any of 13 identified counterparties.

The suit named Steven Barlow, former chief executive of Gaming VC, and Scott Miller, a former director of the company, as defendants based on alleged "tortuous interference" with the alleged settlement.

According to court documents, the case was dismissed by Judge Reginald C. Lindsay on May 20.
