Microgaming: Nothing Yet from Tusk

29 February 2008

Following an announcement regarding the termination of its software licensing agreement with Tusk Investment Corporation, Microgaming said today it has not heard from the gaming operator since it announced it had elected to go into liquidation.

"Microgaming has unfortunately heard nothing further from Tusk itself, and has yet to be advised of the details of the appointment of a liquidator for Tusk," it said. "Until a liquidator advises on Tusk’s financial position and ability to pay players and to pay Tusk's white labels and affiliates, Microgaming is unable to assess the situation."

The group pledged to keep customers apprised of the situation.

Microgaming did not say whether Tusk's decision to go into liquidation was related to the recent suspension of the casino group's eCOGRA "Safe and Fair" seals.
