Antigua, US WTO Ruling Delayed Again

The decision by the World Trade Organization's arbitration panel in the Internet gambling trade dispute between the United States and Antigua and Barbuda has been delayed yet again.

Antigua has filed a $3.4 billion compensation claim against the United States in the form of intellectual property sanctions. The U.S. Trade Representative countered, saying $500,000 was a more reasonable number.

The panel was supposed to deliver its decision on Nov. 30, but it was postponed until today. Mark Mendel, chief counsel for Antigua in the case, informed IGN today that the decision has been delayed.
