LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- It didn't take long for Penn National Gaming to act once the company was licensed by Nevada gaming regulators last June. Four months later, the regional casino giant struck a deal to acquire the debt covering the 2-year-old M Resort at a nearly 75 percent discount. Gaming revenues top $2.6 billion in Macau3 May 2011
MACAU -- Another month, another gaming revenue record in Macau.
Casinos in the Chinese gaming enclave collected $2.6 billion in April from gamblers, according to figures released by Macau's Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau Tuesday.
The monthly total was a 44.6 increase compared with April 2010 and up 2.1 percent over the previous month. ... (read more)
