LAS VEGAS -- Bally Technologies, Inc.'s $1.3 billion acquisition of SHFL Entertainment passed a mandatory waiting period from the Federal Trade Commission without any concern of antitrust issues. Penn National Gaming, Inc.’s planned split in to two publicly traded companies gained four more state regulatory approvals this week, the regional casino operator announced.
