MGM Resorts plans job fair, hopes to add more than 500 workers in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS -- MGM Resorts International will hold a job fair Wednesday at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Events Center to hire more than 500 permanent positions at 12 of the company’s Strip-area resorts.

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Applicants are asked to park in the Mandalay Bay’s self-park garage.

The company is looking to fill jobs for banquet servers, assistant executive chefs, assistant pastry chefs, assistant chefs, assistant food and beverage managers, executive chefs, beverage managers, guest room attendants, housekeeping floor supervisors, housekeeping managers, front desk, front desk supervisors, retail, security, massage therapists, spa/salon, and lifeguards.

MGM Resorts is hiring for Aria Resort & Casino, Bellagio, Circus Circus Hotel Casino - Las Vegas, Excalibur Hotel and Casino, Luxor Hotel and Casino, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand Las Vegas, The Mirage, Monte Carlo Resort and Casino, New York-New York Hotel & Casino, The Signature at MGM Grand, and Vdara.

Applicants are asked to apply online at http://www.mgmresortscareers.com or update their profile before attending the event. Applicants are also advised to bring multiple copies of a current résumé.

Interviews will be conducted at the event, and some applicants will be drug-tested and hired on the spot.
