Caesars' bankrupt operating division makes $29.4 million in September

The casinos managed by Caesars Entertainment Corp.'s bankrupt operating division reported a net profit of $29.4 million in September, the casino company said in securities filing Wednesday.

Caesars Entertainment Operating Co., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in January, is required to file monthly financial reports covering the division's nearly two dozen casinos. Caesars Palace is the only Strip resort that is part of CEOC, which also includes Caesars Atlantic City and Harrah's Reno, along with regional resorts.

CEOC said its net revenue for the month was $328.5 million.

The company said the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission the report was not audited or reviewed by independent accountants.
