Who Will Make Cybergambling Laws In Australia16 July 1998
As many Australian states move to create laws to control and regulate over the Internet gambling, a counter view that control should be an issue for the Federal Government has been put forward. A paper by Prof. McMillen of the Australian Institute for Gambling Research and Dr Peter Grabosky, Director of Research at the Australian Institute of Criminology argue that Internet gambling laws are too important to be left to the states.
