Will casinos change the rules to hurt controlled shooters?

12 June 2008

Hello Frank,

I recently purchased your Golden Touch Blackjack Revolution! book and liked it a lot.

However, with your Golden Touch Dice Control Revolution! book aren't you worried about the casinos changing the rules where you can't arrange the dice, etc., if they start realizing that some players have an advantage over them?

Also, do you offer players to play with you . . . for example, I'm not able to control dice yet, but in the meantime, will you allow someone to sign up to play alongside with you?

Thanks so much. I love the www.goldentouchcraps.com site!

Tim

Dear Tim:

Casinos have certain reactions to the idea of dice control. Many casino executives don't believe it can be done. So many players, maybe around 50%, carefully set the dice and try to control them in some way. These players are long-term losers and the casinos can see that plainly.

Other executives and pit people have gotten themselves into an emotional frenzy about the idea that some elite players can actually control the dice. Many of these executives think that the dice controllers are trying to miss the back wall to establish their control — which, of course, is the exact opposite of what a dice controller is really doing. Dice controllers practice to hit the back wall. If you watch carefully you will see that when their dice miss the back wall the roll is random, not controlled.

So those casino personnel who get frenzied about dice control, yelling, threatening and spewing venom are essentially way off base. I believe they read some article by some industry analyst who knows almost nothing about dice control.

Interestingly enough, the casinos seem to be making more money from craps than ever before due, I believe, to the idea that people can beat the game by setting the dice. Dice setting is not dice control — it is merely a part of dice control.

These so-called "dice controllers" are like bad card counters in blackjack — players who are giving their money to the casinos, happily thinking that at some time they must start winning.

There are also enough "Internet dice influencing gurus" who attempt to sell the public that they are great shooters, teaching cheap classes where they graduate more "dice setting" losers, that smart casino personnel know that craps is going to be a big money maker now and in the future.

Are there dice controllers? Yes. Is the casino industry in dire danger from them? No.

Now, I get about 50 to 100 requests a week from players who wish to play with me, and Dominator, and Stickman and our Golden Touch Craps elite players. We make no appointments to play with people. Players who wish to become controlled shooters should take our Golden Touch Dice Control class and win money on their own rolls. That's the way to go for long-run wins.
