When does the 7 count in the 5-Count?

I've read many of your columns and articles in Casino Player and own two of your books. The article about the 5-count in Casino Player taught me to employ it for quite some time now with much success. My question is that recently I read something on CasinoCity.com where there is a different 5-count than the one I learned not using a craps as a counter. I thought the 7 counts when it is a natural after the 1st point is made.

Please give more detail as to the real 5 count and what this may be.

You understood the 5-Count perfectly. If the shooter has made his point, then a 7 certainly counts as a number in the 5-Count process. Just do what you have been doing. There is no change in how the 5-Count works.
