The Parity Hedge System

Hello, Frank,

I was on an Internet site and they were talking about a system called "The Parity Hedge System." Supposedly some nuclear physicists came up with a system that gave the player a small mathematical advantage through some algorithm. The site has very little information on the system, except they say in the 1970s, some Japanese businessman teamed up with the physicists and supposedly cleaned them out to the tune of $20 million before he disappeared in the desert.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this system is an urban legend, but wanted to know if you ever heard of it or can confirm that it is indeed a hoax. All of my instincts about the game tell me you cannot get an advantage, other than controlling dice, but the site is a reputable site, which monitors internet, investment, and other frauds.

It's a worldwide urban legend. There was a scheme used against the computers at Keno in Canada that actually did work. But the Parity Hedge System wasn't it.
