Superstition and intuition17 July 2018
Well, a week later I had another feeling that a certain team would win a game where they were the underdog. I walked down the same street and thought that if I saw another red car by the count of ten I would place a bet on this underdog team. Yep! The car appeared by the time I got to nine and I bet the team and won again! So I was two for two. Do I go for three in a row? I sure do. I scanned the Internet, waiting for a feeling to well up inside me as I looked up the various games. By the time I got to game twenty-six I had the team. It was a slight underdog but that feeling came over me that this team would win. So I went to the block I had walked on previously and again said if a red car appears I will bet that team I had a feeling about. A red car appeared again. You know what happened. I bet the team and won. Do you think I am on to something? I mean I am three for three and all three teams were underdogs. That has to mean something. Maybe walking down that block and seeing a red car is a good omen and I should follow it. FRANK RESPONDS: Betting sports based on intuition or omens have little to do with winning or losing. That block on which you walk and those red cars are irrelevant to the games that are being played. In short, you were lucky. I am sure there is someone right in your city who has strong feeling that he is going to win a big one and thinks “If a see a plane in the next minute, I’ll bet the ranch on my team.” Anthony I’d like to introduce you to that man. “Mr. No Ranch Anymore, I’d like you to meet Anthony.” There are some people who can actually beat sports but they are not doing it based on superstition and omens. In casino gambling many players rely on superstition and intuition. There is a commercial that has played in the New York metropolitan area about a man who had a strong feeling he would win a big slot jackpot. He shaved and wore a suit to the casino. He indeed won the big jackpot. He knew it. Across America there were probably thousands of people who had the same feeling and went down to defeat. Visit Frank’s website at www.frankscoblete.com.
