Practice is key to success at dice control10 October 2010
Dear Gene: As you said, practice is certainly the key to success at dice control. A controlled shot takes many hours of practice to learn and once learned at home you have to overcome nervousness when you shoot in the casinos. Always speculate that your casino shot will not be as good as your at-home practice shots. Use the Captain's 5-Count on all the random shooters and bet the smallest possible amount on them. I am assuming you have a throwing and receiving station to practice on. If not, you can build one or check the ones out on http://www.goldentouchcraps.com/rigs.shtml. You will get to see a great controlled shot on the DVD that comes with the book. You will also see excellent pictures in the book to help guide you in accomplishing your goal. Dominator and I have not yet played in the Pacific Northwest. I did go to a quilt show in Sisters, Oregon a few years ago -- at my wife, the beautiful AP's, insistence. There were about a dozen men there and some 5,000 women! Since you are on my private site, please feel free to ask any questions you want and to comment as you see fit on anything written by anyone else. All the best in and out of the casinos!
