Mary describes her controlled shooting success

21 June 2010

Hi Frank,

I am taking your advice about creating a gambling account (401-G). I have about $500 saved up so far. I am really going to try to do your class in October in Las Vegas. Like you say, the craps tables aren't going anywhere.

My husband and I still go to the casino, but I don't play craps. I watch, usually.

Well, Saturday night we went and my husband hit on a slot machine for $1,500 and that was sweet... so he gave me $50 to play craps with... and I watched for a while and this one table seemed pretty hot so I got some chips and watched for a while... then it was my turn to shoot and I put $10 pass line (table min). I got two sevens in a row so I was up $20. My next number was a 4, the point number; the next was a 6, then an 8 and my third shot was 4 so I made my point. I won another $10. I didn't put any odds or do any come bets, cuz I didn't make it to 5-Count yet.

The dealer, who I was tipping on my pass line, saw I was controlling my shooting said, "Yeah, you must be reading all those books to help you shoot like that." I didn't reply but on the next come out roll I shot a 9. I still didn't have any odds or any come bets yet.

I throw again I get a 2, then 3, then I roll again here comes the 9, my point number. The guys at the table are all yelling and screaming and having a great time... so now I throw for the come out roll again two more sevens... $20.00 more for me... my next roll the number is a 5.

The dealer again makes a comment and says, "Yeah you just keep throwing those controlled dice." I stopped I stared at him... the table got quiet and I said, "How much you want to make a bet I get this five?"

All the guys are laughing at the dealers and they kept saying she is a hot shooter leave her alone. I said I can handle this so I put $20.00 on the 5 for the dealers just to be cocky which I never do that... but I couldn't resist... and on my next roll guess what I threw? A FIVE!!! They couldn't believe it... I couldn't either... the dealer quickly apologized and said, "I'll remember you!" So of course all the guys are yelling and screaming carrying on... cuz now I have made them three points in the last 15 minutes without a seven... and I don't play the fire bets... but a lot of the them did and I had three numbers I only needed two more and with the 4, 5, 9 out of the way... the guys were all excited... so I threw again on the come out roll threw another 4, but two throws later made the 4, then on the come out roll made I shot the 6 so now everyone was getting excited, because 6's are usually easy to get... you know I couldn't roll a six to save my soul!!!

After three more shots I hit the back wall like I always do... and dice went flying out... I don't know what they hit... but I tried to say same dice but the pit boss nodded his head and they gave me new ones. I wasn't going to make a fuss... of course I line up my dice to throw with the 5 hardway then I throw the dice and it felt like a good throw but one die landed on a chip ugh... and I sevened out!!! How frustrating is that!! I swear the casino did that deliberately. They knew how close I was to that fire bet and there were about 6 guys with $5 fire bets.... oh well I tried.

But I had a great time finally won some money! I put it back in the bank. But I keep reading your books... and rereading... and I am learning so much. I wish I had a teacher here in MA to help me!!!

One last story... there was this guy... talk about a crazy crapper... Frank he spent $10,000 in 1/2 hour... he was throwing crazy... $500.00 hard 4 on a come out roll - working... then 1,200.00 on a field bet... just throwing money away... oh my goodness it made me disgusted!!! It was like he was throwing pennies on the table. I have never seen that before... and this was just a 10.00 table... he didn't care he kept throwing money on the hard 4, regular 4, never on the 6 or 8 always the outside numbers 4, 5, 9 or 10... it was like he was trying to lose... I didn't get what he was doing... except losing.

Ok I have talked enough!! - Have a great night! Please let me know if you are going to be in CT anytime soon?

Thanks so much!!

Mary

Hi Mary:

Nothing like having a great roll. Calling your number out? That reminds me of the great Dominator, who will occasionally do just that thing.

Keep saving your money and when you play always make the best bets.

Look forward to meeting you and husband someday.

All the best in and out of the casinos.

Frank
