FROM JERZY: I have to take issue with you on some of your ideas. I know you are a conservative player – to say the least my friend! – but you seem to enjoy taking the fun away from gambling in a casino and I am assuming you feel about this in all gambling anywhere.

Most of us want a thrill but making conservative bets such as blackjack and safe bets at craps are a waste in my opinion. I want and most of my friends want a chance to win big money. So what's wrong with that?

My wife is a lover of the slot machines that pay big bucks, you know like in the millions. The machines you have recommended are not the big payers but the pauper machines. I am a kind of pauper already so I want a huge bang for my bucks.

I love playing craps, that I do my friend, but just pass line and some come bets? Puh-lease! You got to be kidding me. I go for the best bets in terms of payouts and those include the hardways and the C&E, like that. You hit those a few times and the money piles up. The pass line can take forever to make a killing. You have to admit that my friend, you have to admit that.

I realize that what I am saying you will disagree with but in gambling everyone’s opinion is as good as anyone else’s opinion. That is my motto, my man. It has served me well by giving me a lot of fun even though I am behind but all casino gamblers are behind are they not?

I say go for the gold!

FRANK RESPONDS: Maybe all casino gamblers are behind, as you say, but how much behind are they? That usually depends on the types of bets they make.

But you are right. I disagree with you. To me the thrill of gambling is having a decent chance to win. That gets my blood boiling. I know people want those life-changing hits on slot machines, but those are rare indeed. I prefer to have a chance to come tonight with some extra money in my pocket.
