Is there a winning craps strategy that does not include dice control?9 May 2010
Dear J: Yes, you are right; I have been writing for a long time. I think I have written, produced or done chapters for over 40 books, plus hundreds of articles for magazines and newspapers; several television shows, two DVDs, three audio tapes and three video tapes. I am a workaholic. I work every day. I have also done writing in non-gambling areas — including plays, teleplays, movie scripts, articles and patent research. I have two more books coming out on craps, Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! (April 2010) and Cutting Edge Craps: Advanced Strategies for Serious Players! (Fall of 2010). Both books are being published by Triumph Books, a division of Random House. You can pre-order Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! from www.Amazon.com. Casino Craps: Shoot to Win! will take the reader from learning how the game is played; the best bets; the 5-Count and then how to control the dice. It is the most complete book ever written on craps. It goes from A to Z. The second book, Cutting Edge Craps: Advanced Strategies for Serious Players! will have truly radical information in it that has never been written about before. So, yes, this will be a truly breakthrough book. I think some of the information will blow readers' minds. However, none of what I have done in the field of craps originated with me. I do believe that the recently deceased Captain set the framework for the modern strategy of craps — that is dice control and the 5-Count. These were radical ideas — and they still are. In addition, he understood the human nature of those of us playing the games. Upon his brilliant foundation all else has been built. So I give him full credit for being the giant's shoulders upon which I stand. Now to your main question. There are no betting styles that work without the use of dice control. Armstrong's book is a fun read but it is totally fiction — and remember how the book ended. No trend betting system, no hot or cold system, no Martingale system will give you an edge over the house in a random game. You have to take charge of the game and control it with your own throw, otherwise you will lose. All the best in and out of the casinos!
